SCCA Great Lakes Division Rally Championship Update 2026 09
Upcoming 2026 SCCA Great Lakes Division (GLD) Rally Championship Event:
The final event of the 2026 SCCA GLD Rally Championship series will be Neohio Region's Johnny Appleseed Rally, on Saturday, October 24. The course will wind through the hills of Ohio's Tuscarawas and surrounding counties. Fall foliage should be at near-peak coloration. A summary of current 2026 SCCA GLD Rally Championship points standings, following last weekend's POR rallies, is attached. Please address any questions about errors or omissions in these standings to GLD Rally Steward Rob Moran (rtmoran2008@yahoo.com).
2027 GLD Rally Championship Schedule - Rallymasters Needed:
As in most volunteer-run activities, the majority of rally organizational tasks tend to fall on a few dedicated individuals. Please consider taking on some of these tasks in 2027 and beyond. We would love to see some new GLD Championship rallies organized by new rallymasters, and/or hosted by Regions that have been inactive recently.
You can expect to see the 2027 schedule evolve as plans solidify.
Rally Equipment For Sale/Wanted:
It’s time to “thin the herd”:
1) For Sale: Timewise 547B dual odometer/clock (“B-Box"). This unit recently traveled to the Timewise spa, where all of its toggle switches were replaced.
2) For Sale: ALFA Pro dual odometer/clock ("B-Box") with driver display (0.001 mile/km odometer resolution, Time-of-Day clock operates in either Min:Sec or Decimal Minute mode, digital speedometer).
3) For Sale: ALFA Checkpoint clock (operates in either Min:Second or Decimal minute mode, multiple split memory).
4) For Sale/Trade: Lots of Halda items (Twinmasters, Tripmasters, Speedpilots, T-gears, external wheel drives, cables, complete sets of X/Z calibration gears, misc. repair parts, etc).
